I am interested in psychology. From a young age, I loved the idea of getting to know a person in a deeper, scientific way and this is why I am also glad I get to be on the ICSU journalism team.
For the past two years, I have worked for several organizations and have written articles for them. While doing so, I wanted to learn more about the history of journalism and the emotions of journalists. When I saw journalism as a choice for a class, I immediately signed up for it.
All the emotion-evoking words that journalists can convey in just a short amount of time fascinates me. Throughout this year, I hope to introduce you to know more about our school and its events with my words.

Hi there I'm glad you are reading about me haha. I am Amy Piao. For the longest time, I did not know my real background, not that my parents kept it from me, but I never dug into the history of my family. I was going to write down a whole lot of my background, but I figured it would be boring to read about the history of Amy in this blog, so to sum it up my ethnicity is Korean, and my nationality is Chinese.
I lived in China for 12 years and moved to Korea in 2017. I am in the 11th grade this year, and one more year before I graduate~ Woohoo~~ A little more about me myself: I love chocolate desserts, and my recent favorite movie is Soul. I also really love trying new things.
I realized, moments that are precious should be kept in words and pictures, so I started to journal in 2016. I love to write, to write about my day. This year I am very thankful for the opportunity to be in journalism class with Ms. Shepherd,
I want to use stories to spread warmth in the world, though not always pleasant stories will be written. Well, time’s up, I appreciate you reading about me till here, I hope this blog will be lively and you, my reader, will cherish it.

My name is SooHyun (Sean) Ko, and I am currently in 11th grade in ICSU. I was born in Gangnam, South Korea. I moved to Singapore when I was 7 years old. I started my elementary school year in Singapore Korean International School for two years.
When I was in 3rd grade, I moved to ICS in Singapore. I started learning English when I was in 3rd grade since my main language was Korean. My dream in 3rd grade was becoming a football (soccer) player because I started playing football when I was four. However, I changed my sport to baseball when I was 11 years old. My passion is playing sports.
I have the most knowledge about sports, and I enjoy sports all the time. Sadly, there was no baseball league in Singapore, but when I was in 4th grade I played for a Japanese club till I was 7th grade. I still played football and basketball throughout elementary and middle school. After the end of my middle school year, I moved back to Korea.
I moved to Uijeonbu because of my school. I started my first year in high school here in ICSU. Coming back home was a tough decision. I’ve had a hard time saying goodbye to all of my friends that I was close with for more than five years. Even though I still miss them, I met good friends here in ICSU. I am planning to graduate here in ICSU. My dream is to work for the sports industry. Sports will always be my passion.

Hello, My name is Gary Kwon. I’m a senior in ICSU for 2022-2023 year.
My hobbies are listening to music, playing video games, watching movies and Youtube, working out, playing volleyball, travelling, experiencing many activities, and eating delicious food.
The reason why I am taking Journalism class is because I want to improve my writing skills, learn how to gather information, and I like to take photos.
I started English in 2020, so it's my 3rd year of learning English. Journalism may help me to improve my skills. Also, I want to learn how to gather information because I can get confused with citations, sources, and finding proper resources.
I will try my best while I’m in Journalism class.
