Read all about it!

Earlier this month ICSU students were treated to an exciting and interesting excursion when they went to the Pressum Museum in Jongno.

The American and World Literature students together with the Journalism class visited the museum's many different and engaging exhibits and participated in a number of activities including creating their own newspaper front page - with some students even heading to the moon, captioning their story, "Eagles fly to the Moon," while other front page stories saw students head to China, take part in demonstrations and visit the famed Blue House.

Teacher, chaperone and organiser of the field trip Elizabeth Pujols said she purpose of the trip was for students to be able to explore the role of the first amendment, specifically freedom of speech. "Students can apply their understanding of the process of newspaper production to the role of newspapers within Korea’s history, specifically the struggle for democracy," she said.

After the museum visit, the students enjoyed a delicious lunch of burgers, burritos, ice tea and ice cream.
