Lower and Upper Elementary students had a wonderful day out visiting the Korea National Arboretum at the end of last month. Students had a wonderful time immersing themselves in a number of activities including sketching biomes, looking for bugs, being treated to a guided tour of the arboretum and simply enjoying being outdoors. Elementary school teacher Lori Hake said the students loved it. "We were seeing God in nature," she said.
"It was beautiful to see the changing seasons that God gave us." Grade four teacher Eduard Booysen said students explored various ecosystems and habitats through practical application, whilst having fun outside. "We had fun in nature," he said.
Laura Hartje, another elementary teacher said that her favourite part about the field trip was seeing how excited the students were to see fall leaves and enjoy a beautiful day.
